摘　　要：简要介绍了机顶盒PVR功能,分析了机顶盒PVR功能对文件系统提出的要求,具体阐述了FAT文件系统的原理,在此基础上重点讨论了FAT文件系统在用于多媒体大文件时所应进行的改进,并提出了一种基于FAT文件系统框架设计,利用位图来管理空闲区的机顶盒PVR文件系统。This paper introduced the PVR application of STB and analyzed the requirement of STB PVR file system. The FAT file system is presented in this paper and its corresponding principles are analyzed. The paper emphasizes on the improvement the FAT file system should made for multimedia files and practical application, then proposed a new PVR file system based on FAT frame and use bitmap to manage the free space.
