摘　　要：数据压缩在当今计算机信息处理中占有极其重要的地位,已成为信息处理的热点。本文介绍了数据的变换域编码及数据压缩的基本原理,并简要介绍了沃尔什变换的优点,结合实例重点阐述了沃尔什变换在数据图像压缩中的应用,通过实验仿真取得了良好的效果。The data compression occupy an important place in computer information processing as early as today and has become a key technology of information processing. This paper introduces briefly orthogonal transformation and analyses strictly how to use Walsh transformation to realize data compression of the image in most of transformation method .At last ,the algorithm was realized by MATLAB program and the result is satisfactory.
