摘　　要：小波（wavelet）分析是目前许多学科共同关心的一个前沿领域，本文首先分析付里叶变换和窗口付里叶变换的局限性，从时（空）域、频域局部化的角度对小波理论作了简介，其次综述了小波在图像编码中的应用．Now wavelet analysis is such a frontier that People in many subjects of science and appliodion have warmly a intense interest of In this paper, through analyzing the limitation and shortage of Fourier Transform (FT) and Window FT, wavelet theory is introduced and analyzed with considering the localization of time frequency, then, a survey about wavelet application in image processing is given.
