摘　　要：从文化学视角审视教育,"文化育人"是教育本质的核心,教育功能的实现机制关键在于"内化"。现代大学的文化本质决定着大学体育必然体现文化的高层次性特征。"文化"是大学体育的核心内容,只有"文化"的体育才能真正融入素质教育的整体之中。"文化本位"思想的回归是大学体育变革的必然选择,"文化本位"思想是当代大学体育的应有本义。Studying the education from the aspect of the culture science ,The concept of culture education is the core of the educational essence. The key is the ＂internalization＂. The physical education in university must manifest the characteristic in a high level because of the modern university＇s cultural essence. ＂The culture＂ is the center of the contents of the physical education and it is truly and completely belong to the quality education in university . ＂The Return of the Idea of the Cultural Basis＂ of physical education is a necessary choice if we transform the Physical Education in university and it should be the central meaning.
