摘　　要：随着独立学院蓬勃发展,独立学院以"民、独、优"为代表的办学特征逐渐明晰。"民"即民办机制,这是独立学院在制度创新上的突出贡献。独"即独立管理,这是规范独立学院管理的核心。"优"即优资优质,这是独立学院能够站稳脚跟的关键。As the independent college develops vigorously, it unfolds ＂run by the people , running independently and excellently＂ as its characters. ＂Run by the people＂ means its mechanism doesn＇t depend on the goverment, whicn is independent college＇s innovation. And independent management is its core on managing. Excellent and high quality is the crux that independent college could run steadly. It has much theoretical and realistic meaning to collect, induct and refine the characters of independent college＇s running concept.
