摘　　要：我国自1994年开展普通高等学校教学工作试点评估,从2003年开始,教育部正式确立了周期性教学工作评估制度。列入首轮评估计划(2003-2008年)的本科高校评估工作已经结束。对这样一项规模浩大的工作,进行正确的认识和反思并提出一些建设性的意见,对我国高等教育发展有重大裨益。The undergraduate teaching evaluation in trial, universities in China took place in 1994, and the periodical undergraduate teaching evaluation system was established by the Ministry of Education in 2003. The first round undergraduate teaching evaluation（2003 -2008） has been finished. Correct recognition, reflection and constructive suggestions on such large - scale work are beneficial to the development of higher education in China.
