摘　　要：道德是人类精神生活的一个重要部分。英国约瑟夫.康拉德小说《吉姆爷》继承了英国小说探索道德问题的传统并把道德探索的创作艺术推向一个新的高度。吉姆道德探索从社会的影响、他人的影响以及主人公自身的弱点阐述了道德堕落的根源,探讨主人公重建道德完美的赎罪过程,并从主人公经历中的三次跳跃,探讨"忠诚"与"背叛"这一道德主题。Morality is an important part of social life. Lord of morality prevailing in the English novels. The thesis influence, other officers influence and some weak spots reestablishing perfect morality and finally discusses fidelity in the hero＇s experiences. Jim by Joseph Conrad inherited the subject matter discusses the root of moral downfall from social in Jim＇s characters; analyzes the atonement for and betrayal as subject matter through three leaps in the hero＇s experiences.
