汉英颜色词“红”与“黑”的语义内涵及其文化背景浅析

摘　　要：汉英颜色词作为语言词汇中的一大类属,在交际中发挥了十分重要的作用,但在使用中词义内涵不尽相同。文章选择红与黑两个汉英颜色词为代表,对其语义内涵及其产生差异的文化背景进行了分析、比较和归纳,提出了学习、使用汉英颜色词的建议。Color words in Chinese and English languages as a big part of vocabulary have played a very important role in the communication. Because of different languages and cultures, each color word in Chinese does not always have a precise equivalent in English and vice versa. This paper focuses on two color words ： ＂red＂ and ＂black＂, proposing the usage of color words in Chinese and English based on semantic analysis, comparison, summary and the differences in cultural background of these two words.
