摘  要:文章对导波层是左手介质,而覆盖层和衬底层是常规介质的三层介质平板波导进行了研究,从TM波的波动方程出发,根据电磁场的边界条件,推导出导波层TM波的转移矩阵和模式本征方程。并通过数值计算得出了这种平板波导有效折射率与厚度的关系图,从而得出它与常规介质波导的不同点。The three-layer-material plane waveguide whose wavegnide layer is formed by LHM and whose upper layer and back layer are formed by an usual dielectric cladding is studied. From the wave equation of TM wave and the boundary condition of the electro-magnetic field, the transfer matrix and the mode eigenvalue equation of TM wave in wavegnide layer are derived. Furthermore, through the numerical operation, the relational chart of effective refractive index and thickness of the plane wavegnide is obtained. By analyzed the chart, some different properties between the three-layer-material plane wavegnide and the wavegnide formed by an usual dielectric cladding are obtained.
