摘　　要：用现代西方翻译理论来审视中国的翻译家必将有一番新的发现,这点对于诗人兼翻译家吴芳吉的译诗研究同样适用。追寻吴芳吉早年译诗方式嬗变的踪迹,译者在重写原诗的过程中,因受接受文化中的文学规范和翻译诗学观以及意识形态等因素的制约,在不同时期采取不同的翻译策略,形成了迥异的译诗风格,他的译诗对早年汉语诗学产生了很大的影响。With the insight of modem western translation theories, this paper is devoted to the exploration of Wu Fangji and his theory and practice of the translation of English poetry in the early years of the 20th century. The major focus of the current investigation is to be traced from the initial literary norms up to poetics and ideology, in the procedures of the poet - translator＇ s rewriting of the source text. This approach also affords a new outlook on such problems as translating strategies and the influence of the translated texts on ooetic writing in the target culture context.
