刍议与理工科高等教育密切相关的两组基本概念

摘　　要："科学、技术、工程"和"学科、专业、产业"是两组彼此含义不同而又密切关联的基本概念。日常含糊而并列地使用科学技术、工程技术、学科专业等概念,往往会导致学理上的很大歧义。理清这两组概念,对于理工科大学尤其是工科院校的教学、科研、学科建设、专业调整等工作具有重要意义。＂Science, technology, engineering＂ and＂ subject （ or discipline）, specialized field, industry＂ are two groups of basic concepts with different meanings but closely associated with each other. In practice, these concepts are often eon- founded and used ambiguously, which may lead to misunderstanding of the academic qualifications. Therefore, differen-flaring them is very significant to the teaching, scientific research, discipline construction and the adjustment of specialized fields in the universities of science and technology, particularly the institutes of technology.
