想象的女性气质与种族话语的交互——解读克莱斯特的叙事文本《圣多明哥的婚约》

摘　　要：关于女性气质问题,西蒙.波伏娃认为,在父权社会中女性气质被两极化了,要么是纯洁的、赋予生命的圣母玛丽亚形象,要么是具有诱惑力、破坏性的夏娃形象。而《圣多明哥的婚约》的女主人公托妮既游离于两极女性气质之间,又同时体现了18世纪末出现的种族话语与性别话语之间的交互关系。分析女性性别认同问题还应当注意考察其具体的社会历史文化语境。Simon de Beauvoir argues that femininity is polarized by the patriarchy. It is shaped as the pure Virgin Mary or the tempting and devastating Eva. But Tony, the main female character in The Engagement in St. Domingo, is between these two feminine characters. Meanwhile, she embodies the interaction between the ethic and gender discourses at the end of 18th century. The specialized historical and cultural background should be considered in analysing the femininity polarization.
