摘　　要：工业设计的本质很简单，为企业创造利润，为用户提供更符合需要的产品，引导社会产品向一个积极的方向发展。我认为工业设计是企业发展的其中一个环节，它将企业各个部门通过工业设计有效的结合在一起，并在大的设计开发方向下，共同协调工作，创造企业利润，从而促使企业长远发展。The essence of industrial design is to create profit for enterprises, to provide users with products that better meet their needs and to guide the products to develop in a positive direction. As the teacher of Industrial Dept., School of Fine Arts, Southeast Normal University, Mr. Li Huixiong holds the view that industrial design is a part of the development of the enterprise, all the sectors of the enterprise are effectively linked and worked together through industrial design. Mr. Li believes that the long-term profit of the enterprise cannot be created just through the product design renderings and the industrial design agencies in China should be involved in the decision-making and the process of the product development of the enterprise instead of being just a “painting agency”. Meanwhile, designers should have a deep insight into the market and the users instead of only engaging in the products＇ appearance decoration.
