摘　　要：目前,国际化背景下的现代城市文化对于高等教育国际化起着非常重要的推动作用。其中,人与城市文化空间的相互建构以及城市人的自我确认需求,成了高等教育国际化的重要动力。At present, in the study of the driving force for the intemationalization of higher education, we are short of the research about urban internationalization and the inter-relationship between them. Besides the economic and political motives, the modern urban culture at the background of internationalization is playing a very important role in promoting the intemationalization of higher education. Among them, the mutual construction between human and urban space of culture as well as the process of their mutual construction, separation faced by human beings, and human＇s demand for calling for self-confirmation as an urban human, have become very important driving forces in promoting the intemationalization of higher education.
