摘　　要：大学发展有自身的规律可循,必须着眼于平衡目标的追寻,即对高校内各种关联与利益的合理平衡,以和谐的形态推动高校的发展。因此,大学公共性和大学自主性的辩证和界定成为重要的前提与理路。前者是大学具有存在意义的先决条件,后者则是大学发展导向性的基础。通过对两者范畴的界定,分析两者在中国高等教育发展过程中的境遇,进而明晰实然后的应有之义,表述两者的辩证关系,为大学的平衡性发展提供理论的借鉴是笔者研究的思路和创新所在。The development of university follows its own discipline, while the goal is to achieve the harmonious development through a balance of interests in the interior. It may be the foundation to discuss the relationship between the public nature and autonomy of university. The definition of this relevance is a prerequisite to analyze the reality of university education in China. And it＇ s also the author＇ s logic of this research.
