摘　　要：胡适把高等教育置于为祖国"再造文明"的战略地位,强调办好国内大学的重要性;主张集中精力优先发展成绩突出的大学;强调了科学研究在高等教育中的核心地位和"学术独立"的重要性;注重人才培养与科学发展之间的相互关系。胡适的高等教育发展方略在一定程度上对中国的现代高等教育起到了奠基作用。Hu Shi placed higher education on the strategic position for Chinese renaissance. He emphasized that we should rely mainly on our domestic universities while sending students abroad subsidiary. He advocated that we should concentrate energy on the development of successful universities first. He regarded science as the core of higher education and stressed the importance of academic independence and paid attention to the mutual relation of science and talents. To a certain extent, Hu Shi ＇s planning played a foundational role in Chinese modem higher education.
