摘　　要：基于建立中小企业竞争优势的基础,本文提出中小企业创业行业选择需要结合企业竞争力和行业竞争力,然后在比较本地区和其他地区行业的基础上,将行业分成四类区域,并提出中小企业创业行业选择应致力于空白市场和具有区位优势的本地区特色行业或在相对成熟的本地区优势产业中以协作方式进入。最后,结合理论对新疆中小企业创业行业选择实践进行探讨。On the basis of building the competitive advantages of small and medium -sized enterprises, the paper suggests that the venture choice should take the competence of the enterprises and the trade into account. While comparing the trade of local region and other areas, the trade was divided into four parts. And small and medium - sized enterprises should come into the blank market and characteristic market or superior industry. Lastly, combining with the research, practice of Xinjiang small ＆ medium -sized enterprises＇ venture trade choice was carried out.
