摘　　要："美国梦"一直是美国人民奋斗和追求的理想。随着时代的发展,"美国梦"也发生了演变。小说《麦田里的守望者》从少年霍尔顿的视角深刻、艺术地再现了二战后美国青年一代面对当时美国社会的丑恶现象而产生苦闷彷徨又无所适从的精神状态,折射出人们的物质财富富有而精神生活空虚,探讨了"美国梦"破灭的深刻主题。American Dream is the ideal that American people always strive for and pursue. With the development of society,it has changed a lot. From the perspective of Holden, The Cather in the Rye profoudly and artistically reproduces the depressed and confused state of young generation in the United States after World War Ⅱ when they face various ~ial evils, reflects the reality of American society-people were rich in material wealth but empty in spirit. Therefore, the novel explores The theme of disillusioned American Dream.
