中国远程教育的新使命:提升公民科学素质

摘　　要：中国远程教育创办30年来成就功不可没,为中国经济和社会进步做出了突出贡献。随着时代的发展,中国远程教育又有新的使命摆在面前:提升公民的科学素质。为此,中国远程教育应采取四项措施来完成这一使命,即利用远程教学手段,开展科学技术的传播;利用远程教学方式,开展科学课教师的培训;利用远程教育特点,开展科学课教材的编写工作;利用远程教育影响,开展与其他组织机构的合作。China Distance Education established remarkable achievements in 30 years to make prominent contributions to economy and social progress of China. With the development of era, China distance education has another new mission： enhance the scientific quality of the citizens. For this reason, distance education in China should take four steps to complete this mission ： firs.t, use the means of distance education to carry out the dissemination of science and technology ; second, use the method of distance education to carry out the teacher of science curriculum training activity ; third, use the characteristic of distance education to carry out the work of compile science curriculum materials ; fourth, use the influence of distance education to carry out the cooperation of other organizations
