摘　　要：称谓语不仅与语法、语用、语义有关,也与修辞有关。从修辞学的角度,对汉英称谓语这一语言现象做了探讨,从而加深对称谓语的修辞功用的认识,更为有效地使用称谓语,提升语言表达效果。Appellation terms are closely connected with not only grammar, pragmatics and semantics, but rhetoric as well. This paper discusses the function of appellation terms of both Chinese and English from the perspective of rhetoric, aiming at deeper appreciation and better application of them.
