摘　　要：目的:了解揭阳地区小学六年级学生肠易激综合征(IBS)的发病率和就诊情况。方法:采用整群随机抽样方法,对揭阳地区2000名小学六年级学生进行流行病学问卷调查,估算符合罗马Ⅱ标准IBS的期间患病率和就诊率。结果:符合罗马Ⅱ标准IBS的期间患病率为16.4%,就诊率为22%。结论:IBS是小学六年级学生的常见病及多发病,但就诊率低,大多数没有专科诊治。Objective： To know the incidence and treatment rate of epidemiology of irritable bowel syndrome of the sixth grade students in Jieyang area. Methods：The use of cluster random sampling method,to do a epidemiological survey on 2000 sixth grade students in Jieyang area, to estimate the incidence and treatment rate which was in line with the Rome Ⅱ criteria in the period of IBS. Results：The incidence rate that was in line with IBS Rome Ⅱ criteria was 16.4 percent and its treatment rate was 22%. Conclusion：IBS is a common and frequently-occurring disease among the sixth-grade students but its treatment rate is low.Most of them do not get specialist treatments.
