摘  要:高等教育发展观是人们对于高等教育问题的总体性和一般性看法。我国高等教育发展观反映了我国高等教育长期存在的基本矛盾,以某种独特的方式再现了高等教育发展的基本过程和基本规律。新中国成立60年来,我国高等教育发展观经历了建国初期17年、"文化大革命"10年、拨乱反正和改革开放初期、深化改革开放时期四个基本阶段。高等教育本质问题是高等教育发展观所不容规避的核心问题。从本质上看,高等教育普遍地具有知识的批判反思性、教学与科研活动的社会代理性、组织结构的高度分工性、精神生活的超越性与一致性等传统特征。The development view of higher education is a general and overall view on higher education issues. The Chinese development view of higher education which have re- flected the long-standing basic contradictions in Chinese higher education have also repro- duced the basic process and the basic laws of higher education in a quite unique way. In the past six decades, the Chinese development view of higher education has undergone four basic stages: First, the early seventeen years of PRC; Second, the Cultural Revolution decade; Third, the time of set things right and the early period of reform and opening up; Fourth, the period of deepening reform and opening up. The development view of higher education can not circumvent the problem of the nature of higher education. From the view of essence, higher education generally has some traditional characteristics which include the critical re- flectivity of knowledge, the agency of teaching and research activities, the high degree diver- sity of the organizational structure, and the nobility and consistency of spiritual living.
