摘 要:设计是设计者运用专业知识和个人经验得出设计决策的过程。目前大多数记录的设计信息只能描述设计结果是什么,而不能表达设计是如何展开的以及为什么按照这种方式进行。针对这一问题,提出设计思考过程模型,不仅能够记录设计步骤和设计决策,还能够描述设计过程背后的设计意图。设计意图是设计者解决设计问题时的目的和打算,包括元意图、设计选项和决策。对设计意图的分类进行详细的讨论,并基于此分类以及意图与操作的关系提出6种设计思考过程片段模式。采用BNF范式对设计思考过程模型进行了形式化表达,并开发计算机辅助设计思考过程建模原型系统Mind Digger。以自动柜员机(Automatic teller machine,ATM)存钱机构的设计过程为例对设计思考过程模型进行了实现和验证。Design is the process in which designers use their expertise and experience to acquire design decisions. Most design results can only exhibit what the design is, but cannot reveal how and why an artifact is designed the way it is. Design intent is the motivation, rules and reasons behind design activities. The representation of design intent for design thinking process modeling is addressed. Design thinking process model is described by design intents, operations, justifications and the interaction among them. The basic elements and categories of design intents are discussed in detail and six types of segments of the design thinking process are identified by the relationship between design intents and design operations. The design thinking process model is represented formally by BNF. A prototype system, MindDigger, is developed for design thinking process modeling. An example of the original design of an automatic teller machine(ATM) is taken to embody and validate the model.
