摘　　要：当前英语教学强调应用能力的培养。应用能力不仅仅与听力和口语有关,阅读作为一项重要的技能也应该在教学和测试中体现这一趋势。教学和测试是紧密相关的,测试能够影响教学模式,所以探索以测试学生应用能力为主的交际性阅读测试模式显得尤为重要,尤其应着重探索交际性英语阅读测试应该测什么和应该怎么测的问题。Nowadays great emphasis is placed on training of communicative competence in English language teaching. Communicative competence is not just related to listening and oral English. Reading as an important skill should also follow the trend in both teaching and testing. Teaching is closely related to testing and testing can influence the mode of teaching. Therefore, it is of great importance to explore the framework of testing reading comprehension for communicative purpose, especially problems concerning what to test and how to test.
