双宾语结构的生成语法研究

摘　　要：本文综述和评论国外生成语法学派双宾语结构研究的理论和分析技术。该结构的主要研究可分为三大类:转换分析法,致使拥有分析法,及APPL结构分析法。本文分析了现有分析法所存在的问题,并指出确定句法成分之间的合并顺序以反映双宾语结构的句法及语义特点,是在新的理论框架下对该结构进行深入研究所要注意的问题。The double object construction(DOC) is an issue hotly debated in the generative circle.This paper surveys its major literature.Three major approaches have emerged:(1) The transformational approach which prescribes that the DOC and the dative construction are transformationally related(Larson 1988 and Aoun & Li 1989);(2) the semantic approach which holds that the basic meaning expressed by DOC is possession(Pesetsky 1995,Harley 2003 and Beck & Johnson 2004);and(3) the applicative approach which argues that APPL construction and DOC have the same underlying structure(Pylkknen 2002,Anagnostopoulou 2003,Miyagawa and Tsujioka 2004,and Soh 2005).It is argued that DOC and the dative construction are not derivationally related,and that possession meaning may not be representative of the DOC.It is pointed out that for further study of DOC in the minimalist framework proposed by Chomsky,the order of merge in DOC,the syntactic and semantic characteristics of the construction should be taken into account.
