摘　　要：通过分析WLAN和WiMAX的技术互补性,提出了一种漫游互联网络(RⅡ)架构。分析了在此结构基础上的WLAN和WiMAX网络的切换管理机制,并对相应流程进行了详细描述。通过分析,WLAN和WiMAX混合组网可以克服WLAN网络覆盖范围小,安全性低,低速以及只支持视距等缺点,并减小了端到端的时延。A Roaming Intermediatory Interworking （RII） architecture is presented by analyzing the technical complementarity between WLAN and WiMAX networks. The handoff management mechanism in the integrated WLAN and WiMAX networks is described based on the RII architecture, and the corresponding procedure is also introduced in detail. This network can solve the problem of small covering area, low security, low speed and only support line of sight in WLAN, and decrease the end-to-end delay.
