摘　　要：学术期刊是科研成果和学术信息的重要载体,优秀的学术论文是其得以存在和发展的基础,行之有效的稿件评审机制是保证学术期刊质量的控制环节。编辑工作是一种具有很多规范、专业性很强的工作,有其专门的理论、知识和技能,不是具有一般文化知识的人就可以胜任的,职业化即是对编辑职业素质和业务能力的基本要求。学术期刊编辑具备必要的专业素质是学术刊物特质决定的,也是学术期刊专业化、精品化、特色化发展趋势的必然要求。Academic journals are the carrier of scientific achievement and academic information. The very foundation of their existence and development is academic articles of high quality. An effective article appraising system guarantees the quality of these journals. Editing is a professional job with lots of norms; it needs particular theory, knowledge and skills; and not everyone with common culture and knowledge can be qualified. Being professional is a prerequisite of editors＇ professional quality and competence. The professional quality for editors of academic journals is decided by the nature of these journals. It is also the very requirement for academic journals to be professional, excellent and characteristic.
