摘　　要：沈从文的湘西小说中洋溢着湘西人健全美好的人性与强大旺盛的原始生命力,以及湘西人自由自在的生活方式与崇尚自由的精神,从而使他的湘西世界呈现出了独特的魅力。之所以如此,是因为沈从文站在了民间的文化价值立场上来关注民间、表现民间,体现出了一名现代知识分子所特有的民间意识与民间情怀。Shen Cong-wen＇s western Hunan novel is brimming with the perfect human nature,the formidable primitive vitality,the free life style and the spirit of pursuing freedom of the western Hunan people,thus his western Hunan world presents a unique charm.This is because Shen Cong-wen stood on the folk cultural value standpoint,paid attention to the folk,and reflected the folk,which displayed the unique folk consciousness and folk mood of a modern intellectual.
