摘　　要：综述了安徽省无为县１９９７年４月初地震谣传的始末，分析了谣传的起因、特点和对策，提出了值得思考的几个问题。The beginning and end of the earthquake rumor in Wuwei of Anhui spreading from April,1997 are overviewed,the origin,feature and measures of the rumor are analyzed,and some warrant consideration problems are proposed.
