摘　　要：学科是大学的基本学术单元和组织单元,对学科核心竞争力的要素提出主要观点:学科方向是灵魂;学科知识是根本;学科人力资源是关键;学科制度是保障;学科文化是纽带;学科创新是活力之源。Discipline is a university＇s basic academic and organizing unit, on which the paper puts forward the main elements of the core competitive as follows： the discipline orientation is the soul to raise the core competitive power of universities; the discipline knowledge is the foundation; human resources is the key; discipline system is the guarantee; discipline culture is the link, and discipline innovation is the source of core competitive power of universities.
