摘　　要：《外国法制史》作为普通高等学校法学专业基础课之一,是法学和历史学的交叉学科,其学习方法亦具有多样性。在学习《外国法制史》的诸种方法中,比较法无疑是首要的和最基本的方法,是学好这门课的一把钥匙。通过纵向、横向和同类等比较法的运用,可以对世界各国各种类型法律制度的产生、发展和演变规律有一个完整的认识,为我国批判地移植外国法提供历史的借鉴。As one of the basic courses of law major in common colleges and universities, Foreign Legal History is an interdisciplinary Study between law and history, which also has a diversity of learning methods. In the study of Foreign Legal History, comparative method is the first and the most basic way..Through the utilization of vertical, horizontal and similar comparative methods, we can have a complete understanding about the emergence, development and evolution of various types of legal systems around the world .It can also provide historical reference for our country to critically transplant the foreign law.
