摘　　要：英语语言的性别差异体现在语言层面和会话风格层面。本文从语言层面上(语音语调、词汇、句法等方面)和会话风格上研究语言使用的性别差异,从社会文化方面分析其根源,探索英语会话性别差异对英语教学的启示,即了解产生两性会话差异社会文化原因,尊重性别会话特点,促进跨性别交际。This article studies gender differences in terms of English discourse language （ pronunciation and intonation, vocabulary and grammar） and discourse style （topic choice, discourse quantity, turn taking and control）, researches the social and cultural causes, explores the enlightenment to English teaching and proposes cross gender conversation to enhance students＇ English language ability, and understanding both genders＇discourse differences to promote cross gender communications.
