摘　　要：车牌定位是车辆识别中重要的环节,是字符分割和字符识别的基础。在数学形态学的基础上对图像进行了粗略的定位,根据先验知识进行了伪车牌的去除和字符分割的预处理,该方法能做到车牌准确定位。The location of license plate plays a very important role in LPR, which is the base of segmentation of characters and characters Recognition. This paper makes a rude location of plate on the ground of mathematical morphology and use transcendent knowledge to get rid of fake regions. At last do a pretreatment for characters segmentation. Experiment show this algorithm can extract the plate exactly.
