摘　　要：学生社团以其具有的群众性、民主性、实践性等特点吸引着广大青年学生,使其成为学生综合素质培养提高的重要舞台。通过对中、美高校学生社团发展历史与体育类社团的现状和管理等几个方面进行的比较研究,结合我国高校社团的发展现状,提出高校体育类社团发展的对策及措施。Student societies attract a great number of young students with their collectiveness, democracy, and pragmatism, which makes them the major platform to improve students＇comprehensive ability. This article makes a comparative research into such aspects of Sino -American universities as the student society development history, status quo and management of sports societies. The development status of Chinese university societies is taken into consideration to provide suggestions for the development of university sports societies.
