摘　　要：和谐社会建设要求刑事系统和谐运行,以在惩治犯罪伸张正义的同时,尽量减少因此付出的社会成本,消除由此产生的社会对抗性,维护社会的稳定和谐。律师在刑事案件的侦查、起诉、审判环节,以及罪犯服刑改造的过程中,对刑事系统和谐运行,具有独特的作用。为发挥律师对刑事系统和谐运行的积极影响,我们应完善律师辩护制度,转变观念,加快司法体制改革,加强刑辩律师队伍建设。To build a harmonious society entails the harmonious operation of the criminal justice system, the minimization of the social costs in fighting against crimes, and the elimination of the social antagonism so as to maintain social stability and harmony. Lawyers play a unique role in the investigation and the ruling of a case and in the process of criminals＇ rehabilitation. To bring the positive influence of lawyers into full play, we should perfect the legal representation system, change our mind, step up the reform on judicial system and enhance the quality of criminal defense lawyers.
