摘 要:在我国公共英语教学中,跨文化意识的培养是一个薄弱环节,非英语专业的学生和在职培训的学员在跨文化交际中往往不知所措,出现较多语用失误现象,甚至阻碍跨文化交际。基于此,应探索语言与文化关系理论,以社会—文化教学法和情景参与教学法为实践基础,对公共英语教学中文化导入问题进行探索。在教学实践中,阐明文化传播在公共英语教学中的重要作用,培养学员的文化敏感,从而达到既教语言又教文化的目的。培养真正具有跨文化意识的外语学习者,真正达到跨文化交流无障碍。It has long been a sector needs more attention to enhance the cross-cultural awareness in public English teaching, especially to non-English majors. Prodigious cultural mistakes occur in cross-cultural situation which cause the breakdown of the communication and become an obstacle of the international exchanges. The paper will analyze the relationship between language and culture for the sake of developing English learners the cross-cultural awareness in the public English teaching. By building up the sense of culture, we can foster learners' effective, practical and correct way of using English and make them fluent in international communication.
