摘　　要：张謇系我国第一所民立师范学校通州师范学校的创立者,江谦为近代江苏第一所高等师范学校南京高等师范学校的首任校长。江谦作为张謇的得意弟子,曾倾力协助恩师,为成功创办通州师范立下汗马功劳,而且奉承师愿,再接再厉,使南京高师成为初具现代科学体系、享誉东南的最高学府。师生两人携手并肩,共同为南通乃至江苏的教育事业作出了巨大贡献,无愧为近代中国师范教育的先驱。张謇与江谦三十年的意气相投,坦诚相待,无私合作,共同推进了江苏教育的近代化进程。ZHANG Jian is the founder of the first non-governmental normal school, Tongzhou Normal school, while JIANG Qian is the first headmaster of the first normal college, Nanjing Normal College. As an excellent student of ZHANG Jian, JIANG Qian assisted his teacher in establishing Tongzhou Normal school, and he followed the ideal of his teacher in promoting Nanjing Normal College as the top college in the southeast. Both the teacher and the student contributed a lot to the educational career in Nantong and even in Jiangsu, and they deserve the title of ＂pioneers in Chinese teachers＇ education＂. The sincerity and cooperation between ZHANG Jian and JIANG Qian accelerated the educational modernization of Jiangsu
