摘  要:语音象征指的是音具有意义这样一个概念,国内外的许多学者都注意到声音象征意义的存在并进行了相关研究。英诗与语音象征有着密切的关系,其中单个音和音组都具有相应的象征意义,并且音和音之间,以及语音和语篇之间都密不可分,同时,语音象征也可应用于英诗教学。Sound symbolism refers to the notion that sounds have meanings. Both domestic and foreign scholars notice sounds have meanings, so some of them conduct research. English poems are closely related with Sound Symbolism. An individual sound and a sound group both have corresponding meanings. Moreover, the meanings of different sounds exert influence on one another and they can' t be independent from the whole discourse. Meanwhile, sound symbolism can be used in English poems' teaching.
