摘　　要：CuCl-catalyzed oxidative N-demethylation of arylamines proceeded in the presence of tert-butyl hydroperoxide. The one-electron transfer route of oxidative N-demethylation competed favorably with the H-atom abstraction route.CuCl-catalyzed oxidative N-demethylation of arylamines proceeded in the presence of tert-butyl hydroperoxide. The one-electron transfer route of oxidative N-demethylation competed favorably with the H-atom abstraction route.
