摘　　要：建设社会主义新农村是党中央落实科学发展观的重大战略决策,搞好新农村建设关键在于农民素质的提高。高等农业院校在适应时代发展要求中,须充分发挥自身的功能,以科技信息技术、人才资源、网络信息技术信息等优势服务于新农村建设,培育新农民的素质。文从分析我国农民素质状况入手,明晰高校优势,研究其为新型农民素质培养的途径。Constructing new socialist countryside is an important strategic decision of the Party Central Committee to implement the scientific development view. The key of constructing new socialist countryside lies in improving farmers＇ quality. To adapt to the development of the era, the agricultural universities should make full use of their advantages in information technology, talent resources and network information technology and so on to service the new socialist countryside construction and improve the new-type farmers＇ quality. The status of farmers＇ quality in China is analyzed, the advantages of agricultural universities are definited, and the ways to train the new-type farmers are studied.
