本科院校英语专业英美文学教学的困境与对策

摘　　要：目前,在市场经济大环境下,本科院校英语专业英美文学教学陷入了困境:课程设置使英美文学边缘化,学生使英美文学边缘化,教师是使英美文学边缘化。外语系必须高度重视英美文学教学充分提高学生对英美文学课程重要性的认识,多渠道促进英美文学的学习。这样,英美文学教学才会收到好的效果。Under the general circumstance of market economy at the present time, English and American Literatures teaching for English Specialty at regular colleges has run into predicaments： it has been marginalized by foreign languages departments or colleges when courses are offered, by students and by teachers. Foreign languages department or colleges have to pay special attention of English and American Literatures teaching, improve students ＇cognition of the importance of it, and carry out a lot of activities to enhance it. Thus, English and American Literatures teaching can achieve a satisfactory effect.
