双芯耦合光纤准基孤子演化行为及孤子相互作用和啁啾效应的影响

摘  要:应用变分原理,在考虑三阶色散、损耗和孤子间相互作用的情况下,对双芯耦合光纤中准基孤子的演化行为进行研究,分析了孤子相互作用和啁啾效应对孤子传输行为的影响。推导了准基孤子参量演化的耦合方程组,在小涨落近似(即旋波近似)下求解了准基孤子参量的初值演化。结果表明:(1)考虑孤子相互作用,脉宽演变特征参量b0<0,在此条件下,脉宽近似以指数衰减行为演化,η(z)<η(0);(2)为了限制啁啾c(z)效应,即c(z)按tanh-型初值演化,c(z)<c(0),考虑到孤子间相互作用,其充分条件要求啁啾演变特征参量c1<0,啁啾演变宗量Qc<0,因而演化由于啁啾效应的抑制,保持η(z)<η(0);(3)孤子相互作用随道宽q2(z)和啁啾c2(z)呈指数衰减演变,为使孤子相互间不发生远离,在道宽演变宗量Qq>0条件下,q(z)呈tanh—型演化方式。On the basis of the variation principle, in considering the third - order dispersion and loss, and the interaction between optical solitons, it studied the evolution behavior of the quasi - fundamental soliton in twin - core coupling fibers and analyzed the influence of linear chirp and interaction between optical solitons on the evolution process of the quasi - fundamental solitons. The nonlinear coupling system of equations for the quasi - fundamental soliton parameters has been derived. Using the small fluctuation approximation ( rotating wave approximation), it found the initial - valued evolution of the optical soliton parameters. The following has been observed : ( 1 ) By considering the interaction between optical solitons it has the evolved characteristics parameter of the pulse width b0 〈 0. Under this condition the pulse width evolves in the exponential decay form approximately η(z) 〈 η (0)- (2) In order to restrict the linear chirp effect (meaning c (z) evolves by tanh initial -valued form c (z) 〈 c (0) )with regard to the interaction between optical solitons we found the evolved characteristics parameter of the linear chirp must be c1 〈 0 and the corresponding evolution argument must be Qc 〈 0, so that the initial - valued evolution of linear chirp is maintained in η(z) 〈 η(0). (3) With the channel width q^2(z) and the linear chirp c^2(z) the interaction between optical solitons evolves in the exponential decay form. To avoid having further separation between the optical solitons the channel width q(z) must evolve in the tanh -form under the condition where the evolution argument of the channel width must be Qq〉0.
