摘　　要：医务社会工作在西方及我国港台地区已历经半个多世纪,得到了较好的发展。作为主要关注患者情绪及心理康复的干预手段,医务社会工作对于患者的身心健康具有十分重要的意义,它的专业工作方法包括个案、小组、社区等,也涵盖了义工服务、健康教育等领域。在提倡"以人为本"的医护模式的今天,医务社会工作的发展无疑具有广阔的空间。The medical social work has been on for more than a half century in the west, Hong Kong and Taiwan in China and it＇ s been developing well. As an intervention concerned with the mood and psychological rehabilitation of the patients,the medical social work is significant for the physical and mental health of the patients. The professional working methods include not only individual cases, small groups, communities and so on but also the fields of volunteer service and health education. There will be broad space for the development of the medical social work now in the days of advocating ＂people-oriented＂ pattern of nursing service.
