摘　　要：简短回顾了国际干燥研讨会(IDS)和《干燥技术》期刊的发展史,并简要说明了干燥技术研发主题的时代和地理变化。最后提出在时下流行的研发领域竞争背景下,干燥技术研发在未来所面临的挑战。The development history of the International Drying Symposium （IDS） and the journal ＂Drying Technology＂ was briefly reviewed. And the times and geographical changes of drying R ＆ D topics was described. Finally, the challenges of drying R ＆ D in the future were proposed, according to the competition in the field of the current research and development.
