摘  要:目的评价新型液体栓塞材料2-聚甲基丙烯酸羟乙酯(2-P-HEMA)与二甲基亚砜(DMSO)混合物栓塞脑动静脉畸形(AVM)的可行性及安全性。方法注射5%2-P-HEMA的DMSO溶液栓塞6只家猪一侧颅底微血管网(RMB)。于栓塞术后不同时期复查造影,取双侧RMB行组织学检查。结果全部动物均顺利完成栓塞,复查造影未见RMB显影。栓塞材料显影良好,通过微导管阻力小,未发生堵管及粘管现象。复查造影见栓塞完全,无血管再通。组织学检查见栓塞材料在注射侧RMB内弥散铸型好。结论2-P-HEMA和DMSO混合物能够有效地栓塞猪AVM模型,其有望成为一种治疗脑AVM的新型非粘附性液体栓塞材料。Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of the endovascular embolization of the cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) with mixture of a new liquid embolic agent, 2-poly-hydroxyethyl-methaerylate (2-P-HEMA) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Methods DMSO solution containing 5% 2-p-HEMA was used to embolize rete-mirabile (RMB) of the cranial bases in 6 pigs. The angiography was performed 3 weeks and 3 months respectively after the embolization in 2 pigs. The RMB was phathologically examined in all the pigs. Results The satisfactory embolization was achieved in all the animals. The mixture was easily injected through microcatheters without catheter occlusion and adhesion to vessels. The deep nidus of the materials were observed in the embolized RMB under a microscope. Conclusions The embolization of the RMB in the pig with mixture of 2-P-HEMA and DMSO is technically feasible and safe. The embolization effect of the mixture on RMB in the pig is good. It is suggested that the mixture of 2-P-HEMA and DMSO may be a potential embolie agent to treat cerebral AVM.
