摘　　要：合同是平等主体之间设立、变更、终止民事权利义务关系的协议。本文主要从指称、语气和情态等方面，探讨英文合同中人际功能的体现，以助于我们更深层次的把握合同，从而为拓宽商务英语教学思路提供新的视角。A contact refers to an agreement establishing, modifying and terminating the civil rights and obligations between subjects of equal footing. This paper analyses interpersonal function realization in English contracts in terms of reference, mood and modality for the purpose of furthering our understanding of contracts and thus offering new perspective in teaching of foreign trade English correspondence course.
