摘　　要：Along with development of China＇s popular education, the embodiment of humanistic education is the natural and inevitable requirement of higher education after its transition from elite to popular education to ensure a good quality and a higher level. English teaching is indispensable due to the uniqueness of Chinese language and culture, and our open policy. College English teaching has become an extremely important platform, different from most other countries, to train talents. And to train talents is not only to train for the English language speakers or to be just certain technicians. This article will, from aspects of teaching philosophy, theory and mode, give a preliminary probe into the reasons why humanistic education should show itself up in all segments of college English teaching and how to show up. And it is expected to use the little to get the big.大众教育的全员化使大学教育的人文因素降低。人文教育体现在大学英语教学当中已是高校从精英教育到大众教育转变后保证高等教育质量和水准的自然和必然的要求。由于中国语言和文化的独特性和中国改革开放，发展经济的显示需要，英语教学必不可少。大学英语教学成为中国高校“培养人”的一个不同于其他任何国家的极其重要的平台和环节。而“培养人”就不仅仅是培养简单的会说英语的简单人才或其他专业的简单技工。本文从教育理念、教育理论和教学模式、教学设计等方面初步探讨了人文教育为何选择在大学英语教学的各个环节中体现，如何体现，并在教学设计方面重点提出个人观点，以期做到以点带面，抛砖引玉．
