摘  要:语言是交际工具,外语教学的目的是把外语用作交际工具。交际教学法在我国的英语教学中得到了广泛运用,而且已经成功地流行了20余年。交际教学法的核心,即教学过程就是交际过程,其基本主张是学以致用,通过对其优缺点的分析,带给我们很多的启发。Language is a means of communication.The aim of foreign language teaching is to cultivate students’ communicative competence of using a foreign language.Nowadays,communicative approach has earned a wide popularity in English teaching and in China's EFL/FLT classrooms over 20 years.The core of communicative approach is that the teaching process should be regarded as the communicating process.Its basic view is applying what has been learned.The analysis of its advantages and disadvantages may enlighten us a lot.
