Value Consensus and Cultural Conflicts among Various Social Communities in China Today:A Report On the Harmony of Chinese Ethics

摘　　要：The investigation demonstrates that various social communities in contemporary China possess special ethical contexts and moral temperament.Among the various social communities,while value consensus is the fundamental aspect,profound ethical conflicts may exist because of the corruption of governmental officials and the unfairness in benefit distribution.Four basic laws must be followed to achieve ethical harmony of various social communities,i.e.,the dilemma between the similarity of concept and idea and the conflict of conducts and reality,the consistency in problem diagnosis is superior to the recognition of values and consistent value judgments,territorial consistency is superior to inter-community consistency,the consistency in ethical-moral territory is superior to the consistency in ideology and culture.The construction of harmonious ethics is to achieve four strategies,i.e.,to solve two difficult problems of governmental officers’corruption and unfair distribution so as to safeguard the practical ethics in the state’s power and the social fortune,to cultivate the national ethical belief and spirit,to establish the idea of ethical safety and enhance the members’awareness of ethical safety,and to establish the practical ethics by transforming value consensus to ethical conducts.The investigation demonstrates that various social communities in contemporary China possess special ethical contexts and moral temperament.Among the various social communities,while value consensus is the fundamental aspect,profound ethical conflicts may exist because of the corruption of governmental officials and the unfairness in benefit distribution.Four basic laws must be followed to achieve ethical harmony of various social communities,i.e.,the dilemma between the similarity of concept and idea and the conflict of conducts and reality,the consistency in problem diagnosis is superior to the recognition of values and consistent value judgments,territorial consistency is superior to inter-community consistency,the consistency in ethical-moral territory is superior to the consistency in ideology and culture.The construction of harmonious ethics is to achieve four strategies,i.e.,to solve two difficult problems of governmental officers'corruption and unfair distribution so as to safeguard the practical ethics in the state's power and the social fortune,to cultivate the national ethical belief and spirit,to establish the idea of ethical safety and enhance the members'awareness of ethical safety,and to establish the practical ethics by transforming value consensus to ethical conducts.
