摘　　要：白俗,即"通俗性",是白居易诗歌的重要审美特征。这种特征主要是由以下原因促成的:首先,儒家长期以来观风俗、察民情的政治观以及"尚质抑文"的文艺观对白居易美学思想产生了重要影响。其次,白居易的美学观念也受到了中唐市井文化发展与文化世俗化趋势的影响。第三,白居易本人非常重视读者的期待视野,对读者期待视野的关注使他在创作时有意识地迎合了读者的心理需求。＂Bai su＂, that is popularity, is an important aesthetic feature of Bai Juyi＇s poets. This feature is formed by these factors： first, Bai Juyi＇s aesthetic thinking have been greatly affected by the political ideology of observing customs and national conditions of the time, and the art ideal of respecting simplicity and suppressing florid language, which all are the core veiwpiont of Confucianism; second,the development of commom people culture and the tendency of culture secularization in the middle Tang dynasty also have great effect on Bai＇s poems ; thirdly, Bai Juyi pays attention to his would-be readers, which makes him consciously cater to the readers＇ psychological requirements.
